Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Azure Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers, developers, and operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

Willing to work in 24/7 Rotational shifts

Assist senior engineers in monitoring and identifying errors or performance issues within the Azure infrastructure.

Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, quality assurance, and production environments.

Learn and implement monitoring and metrics collection practices to proactively identify potential issues.

Support the development and improvement of operational practices and procedures under the guidance of senior engineers.

Contribute to the creation of detailed documentation of procedures and outage reports.

Assist in routine server hardware maintenance tasks as part of the team.

Collaborate with the team to understand and implement Infrastructure as Code principles.

Develop basic scripting skills and automation tasks to streamline operational tasks.

Communicate effectively with team members, conveying technical information clearly.

Qualifications:

Degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).

Basic knowledge of Linux command-line interface (CLI) and willingness to learn Linux internals.

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and a strong interest in Azure services and infrastructure.

Exposure to version control systems like Git.

Basic understanding of programming concepts and willingness to learn higher-level programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, PHP).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for learning and a desire to develop skills in the DevOps domain.
