About the Role: 💡

In this role based in Rabat📍 you will report into the Senior Vice President of Finance and be the key financial support of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Member in charge of the Innovation Function.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to work in close partnership with the ELT member. Support them so that they are able to confidently manage and discuss their Function’s Financial performance with the rest of the Business, helping them to drive Innovation and Corporate strategy, as well as ensuring they remain accountable for their Budget/forecast.

In addition to supporting the Innovation ELT member, you will support the Financial planning and analysis teams with financial analysis and reporting as required.

You will be required to build and manage strong relationships across the business, in particular with other Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders (i.e. ELTs and their direct report level). You will collaborate with the operational teams, providing forecast insight and analysis with an objective to help manage overheads and drive cost efficiencies.

Your responsibilities: ✅

• Preparation and reporting of the group wide management accounts, and other financial and statistical data for your ELT stakeholder. Utilizing trends and information to understand and improve the financial performance of the Innovation Function.
• Business partner the Innovation leadership team on product and commercial strategy across all channels and categories.
• Ownership of Profit & Loss performance; identifies and quantifies risks and opportunities, and proactively supports the Innovation leadership team develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain a clear operational narrative that tells the story of business performance across P&L when comparing to financial benchmarks, such as but not limited to; prior year, budget, forecast.
• Develop strong and collaborative relationships, and improve ways of working across all finance areas (i.e. Financial Controllership/Process improvements/System improvements).

What you bring: 🤔

• Master degree in accountant or equivalent qualified accountant, with a strong work ethic and proven track record.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate the language professionally (spoken/written).
• 8 to 10 years of total experience.
• A bias for action, with high levels of resilience and drive, able to see the strategic big picture but also to roll sleeves up and get into the detail and delivery of financial projects.
• Energetic, proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate and inspire in a matrixed environment.
• Clear communicator; decisive and excellent influencer.
• Able to challenge all areas of activity, especially elements that ‘have always been done that way’ and recommend new approaches to meet financial objectives.
• Commercially minded with a good grasp of key financial drivers and strong contract management skills.
• Excellent excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Business Central, Workday, SaaS KPIs is a plus.
