About the Role
As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our enterprise's security posture in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge security architectures that protect our assets and data against sophisticated threats. This role demands a visionary approach to security, a deep understanding of current cybersecurity trends, and the ability to innovate and adapt to protect the business
Your responsibilities
- Strategic Security Design: Develop comprehensive security architectures, integrating advanced security practices, to safeguard against emerging threats. Focus on cloud security, AI-driven threat detection, and the adoption of zero-trust principles.
- Standards and Frameworks: Define and update technical security standards and principles, incorporating industry best practices and compliance requirements from frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and GDPR.
- Security Reviews and Threat Modeling: Conduct rigorous security assessments and threat modeling for ongoing and new projects, ensuring designs meet stringent security standards. Implement continuous improvement practices for threat identification and mitigation.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in developing both high-level and detailed technical designs, ensuring security is integrated at all stages of project development.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Perform in-depth risk analyses and compliance assessments, contributing to the overall security strategy and roadmap. Advocate for a balanced approach to risk management that supports business objectives while protecting critical assets.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies. Lead initiatives to pilot and adopt innovative security solutions that enhance defense capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key advisor on security matters to stakeholders across the organization. Provide expert guidance on security best practices, risk management, and technology solutions
Who you are
- Experience: A minimum of 12 years in IT, with at least 10 years focused on Information Security. Demonstrated experience in security architecture and strategy is essential.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
- Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge in security domains, cloud security architectures, data protection, network security, and identity management. Experience with defensive and offensive security strategies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Desired Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their security tools.
- Familiarity with Big Data analytics and its application in security.
- Understanding of SAP security and experience with related projects.
