Introduction

The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist role be integral part of our Campaign and Marketing Operations team within the GTM Operations team at Optimizely. We envision this role being a key player in our campaign operations function and partnering closely with our marketing leaders to elevate our internal operational processes and campaign tracking infrastructure. Close collaboration with the marketing team will support a seamless process from planning to execution.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and fun Marketing Operations team. You will get to work closely with the team to build a best-in-class marketing operations engine. We are looking for a candidate that is excited about jumping in to round out the team and continue to optimize our approach to campaign and marketing operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and execute complex campaigns from an operational perspective
  • Serve as Marketo subject matter expert
  • Develop and maintain process and enablement documentation
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and take initiative to implement improvements
  • End-to-end management of special operational projects
  • Work management and prioritization through a request process in our Content Marketing Platform (CMP)
  • Build, test, and execute marketing campaigns via Marketo, including creation of emails, landing pages, forms, and reports
  • Data cleansing and normalization
  • Ongoing pursuit of industry knowledge, best practices, and trends as it pertains to marketing automation and campaign management
  • Partner with other members of the marketing operations team on process improvement, Marketo enhancements, and other related projects

Knowledge and Experience

  • 4+ years as a daily user or admin in Marketo
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Experience building out technical documentation
  • CRM experience (Salesforce)
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors, and manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn innovative technologies and define processes
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Bachelor's Degree
