Job Description

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a Technology Alliances Sales Enablement Associate who can drive awareness and accelerate the adoption of Technology Partners within Zendesk’s audience of customers and prospects, through ensuring that go-to-market teams are knowledgeable about technology partner value propositions and enablement activities that are taking place behind the scenes. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual, with collateral development and enablement experience to drive our Tech Alliances mission forward.

What you’ll be doing

As the Technology Alliances Sales Enablement Associate, you will have end-to-end ownership over building technology partner collateral and sales enablement material working closely with our technology partners, optimizing and managing Seismic, our internal enablement portal, and inserting technology partners into ongoing Zendesk sales enablement programs. You must have a high level of curiosity, attention to detail, understanding of go-to-market enablement and the ability to collaborate and achieve buy-in at all levels across the business. You will 1) partner with global GTM Enablement leads to implement planned and strategic enablement activities to drive growth, 2) collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful development and implementation of effective content, and 3) manage the organization, metrics and success of Tech Alliances enablement activities and assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Enablement

    • Foundational Content Management: Craft and manage key Tech Alliances GTM messaging and Tech Alliances collateral development

    • Lead Collaborative GTM Programs: Via a proactive and collaborative approach, build out high value messaging and collateral for GTM programs

  • Seismic: Own and manage all Tech Alliances collateral in our internal sales enablement portal, and ensure all content is optimized and easily accessible by Zendesk GTM teams

  • Slack: Own the #tech-alliances Slack channel, supporting Sales and Customer Success teams, and ensuring fast and effective responses are provided by the Tech Alliances team

  • Partner Portal: Own our external facing partner portal to ensure we are providing a streamlined partner onboarding journey and we have continued data integrity between the Portal and our internal CRM

  • Ad hoc projects: Lead with an agile mindset to identify areas of opportunity for Tech Alliances enablement, as well as remaining ready to contribute to last minute requests.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required, an MBA can be a plus

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role or operating experience in a SaaS company

  • Experience owning end-to-end execution of collateral creation and enablement programs

  • Experience working closely with product marketing and sales teams, as well as external customers and partners to create content and programs

  • Experience working with knowledge management platforms

  • Basic knowledge and motivation to learn multiple new systems of record (including Slack, GoogleSuite, Seismic, Impartner, Salesforce and AirTable)

  • Experience building high-quality, visually-appealing and data-rich presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Seismic (enablement portal) and Impartner (partner community portal)

  • Proficient in Salesforce report creation and data analysis

  • Experience with building and maintaining technology partner relationships

  • Experience balancing numerous different priorities and demands

  • Ability to be highly productive with limited oversight on a day to day basis

  • Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen

  • Hands-on, get-it-done attitude with excellent project management skills for complex, cross-functional marketing programs. Roll up your sleeves to do-it-yourself

  • Cross-functional collaborator with the ability to build deep relationships, influence teams to plan, and drive performance objectives

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$144,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
