Job Description
Who we're looking for
Are you an exceptionally skilled and expert Accounting professional with a consistent track record in managing revenue? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our outstanding team as an Accounting Revenue Manager.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure accuracy of the allowance for doubtful accounts and sales return reserve by leading all aspects of calculation and trend analyses prepared by Manila-based revenue team members.
- Manage bankruptcy and other business-related specific reserves by working closely with our technical revenue recognition accounting and revenue operations teams.
- Own end-to-end revenue recognition process for 3rd Party Resellers.
- Assist with revenue accounting for business acquisitions prior to full integration, as well as play an integral role in the development and implementation of go-forward revenue processes.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies resulting from upstream operational procedures. Perform in-depth review of accounting procedures and reconciliations for revenue accounting balance sheet accounts to ensure efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with driving interdepartmental projects and operational process improvements.
- Design flowcharts and write memos outlining revenue accounting policies and procedures.
What you bring to the role
- Detail oriented and great with time management.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in generating ad hoc reports for management, with advanced skills in writing complex data formulas.
- Extensive experience with Allowance for Doubtful Accounts analysis
- Open to working US Pacific Time hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition Standard with experience in the SaaS industry
- Prior experience and proficiency with Zuora Revenue (formerly RevPro) and NetSuite accounting systems
