Transportation Manager (Part-time)
The Transportation Manager reports to Senior Manager of League Operations & Innovation. They will be responsible for managing Overtime’s athlete transportation needs.

What you’ll do:
  • Operate a 25-passenger shuttle bus safely and efficiently for players from housing to arena and back.
  • Retain proper vehicle licensing to operate a bus in the state of Georgia.
  • Drive a bus along a designated route, picking up and discharging students in accordance with established time schedules; observe legal and defensive driving practices; assure compliance with applicable traffic and student transportation laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct daily safety inspection of van; inspecting interior and exterior.
  • Determine appropriate action in potential or real medical emergency situations accordingly to established guidelines.
  • Driving shuttle bus for athletes to arena and back during weekday. Shifts to be split with another driver for morning and evening shifts. Some weekend/weekend night shifts required for games and for teams visiting.
  • Drives to airport required.
  • Drives for field trips and various academics and basketball activities required.
  • Driver is responsible for ensuring bus is refueled, logging miles, and ensuring bus is clean and sanitary.
  • Driver is responsible for any vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks etc.
  • They will assist with day-to-day basketball operations including, but not limited to the set-up and break down of practices and games, team logistics and transportation and equipment.
Who you are:
  • Must have a current and active CDL license.
  • Must have a clear MVR check.
  • Previous CDL driving experience is preferred.
  • Team or league experience specific to basketball operations is preferred.
  • Cooperation: Works well with others and willing to assist where needed; team player.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to stay focused despite changing conditions and workload.
  • Communication: Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing; Interpersonal skills: Maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
  • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Ability to work non-traditional work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attitude: Must always be willing to put the betterment of the team first and foremost with a positive and collaborative attitude.
