As Overtime’s Network and Systems Engineer, you will be based in our state of the art facility in Atlanta, Georgia. You will provide our organization with systems and network support, deployment and optimization. Though based in Atlanta, you will be responsible for leading the design and improvement of the entire infrastructure. This role could potentially include travel to our NYC headquarters and other locations as needed.

Your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):
  • Network & Systems Operations: Monitor and manage switching, routing, performance tuning, and capacity planning across physical and virtual locations.
  • Cloud Systems Administration: Oversee and optimize cloud-based environments, including Google Workspace, Iconik, Kandji(Iru), AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, EFS, VPC, FSx, CloudFormation) and other systems.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage, maintain, and optimize hybrid server infrastructure (local and cloud) for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integration & Automation: Collaborate with tech, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications into the company’s tech stack and automate recurring workflows where possible.
  • Vendor & Asset Management: Assist in managing vendor relationships, procurement, and planning for future infrastructure growth.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor best practices for access control, identity management, data protection, and network security across all systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Pitch and lead projects that improve IT operations, internal communication, and overall system performance (roughly 10% of your role).
  • Adaptability: Take ownership of a wide variety of projects, from deploying new collaboration tools to managing transitions between tech vendors with flexibility and creativity.


Who You Are:
  • Experienced: 5+ years working in a live and/or post-production environment, maintaining always-on networks and servers.
  • Cloud-Savvy: Deep understanding of storage-based workflows on AWS, with experience in EC2, S3, IAM, EFS, VPC, FSx, and CloudFormation.
  • Networking Expert: Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Aruba, and/or Cisco networking products.
  • Project Architect: Skilled in managing large-scale migrations and designing new network/server deployments from the ground up.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and precise in maintaining system documentation, asset tracking, and configurations.
  • Multitasker: Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive: A doer and problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenges big and small.
  • Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across teams.
  • Team Player: Positive, adaptable, and eager to support colleagues across departments.
  • Creative Thinker: Excited to bring new ideas and improvements to the IT ecosystem.
  • Flexible: Willing to adjust to evolving needs and take on diverse projects.
  • On-Site Contributor: Able to work on-site in our Atlanta office (Monday–Friday), with evening and weekend work as needed.
  • Bonus Points: Startup experience, a passion for sports, and experience supporting creative production workflows.
  • Physical Requirements: May involve lifting equipment (10–20 lbs).
