This position is responsible for creating engaging and effective training solutions using video, web and media technology that align with project needs. Will partner closely with project owners and other training instructional designers/developers to understand project requirements. Will also independently manage development of small-medium training and communications projects from beginning to end.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal customers, senior developers and management to gather relevant content and develop instructionally sound learning solutions based on current learning principles which encourage interactive, engaging experiences
- Manage small-medium projects through entire lifecycle, from developing storyboards and scripts through ensuring content is published through appropriate medium Create high end media assets (graphics, videos, animations, web pages) for use in projects owned by other training designers and developers
- Manage the complete production of video projects, including scripting, storyboards, filming, and editing
- Design effective communications including templates, infographics, and quick reference cards
- Utilize generative AI tools, including ChatGPT, in various stages of the development process.
- Set and meet project milestones and deadlines; proactively communicate with manager, clients, SMEs and team members regarding progress, barriers, challenges and needs
- Follow and contribute to determining team templates and standards
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices; continually build expertise in current and new tools
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, clients, and development team.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt and change to new practices and processes as the way we work is enhanced.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field or commensurate business experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in application of graphic design to training content development or similar experience
- Understanding of learning principles and how design/development applies Familiarity with web design/development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate expertise with: Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Adobe Premiere Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Familiarity with one e-learning application (Lectora, Captivate, or Storyline)
- Experience managing and working within the video production lifecycle.
- Experience utilizing ChatGPT or other generative AI tools to enhance and expedite development processes.
- The desire and ability to learn new tools quickly Self-guided and self-motivated; able to work independently or within a team Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others Ability to come up with and apply unique and creative solutions to training projects
