Director of Growth Marketing
Pikkit
About Pikkit:
At Pikkit, we’re building the home for sports betting. Today, we’re a social sports betting app with over 800K users and 18,000+ 5 star reviews. After launching just three years ago, we’ve tracked over 30 billion dollars of legal US sports wagers. We’re featured in industry reports from Citizens Bank, Houlihan Lokey, SBC, and more. We’re also backed by leading venture capitalists including Founder Collective, Baukunst, and Matrix. We’re a team of 15; we have an office in Flatiron in NYC and are all in-person. We move fast, build high quality products, and don't take ourselves too seriously. 😊
About this role:
In the last three years, we’ve grown the Pikkit user base from 0 to 800,000+ users, primarily through influencer marketing and organic word-of-mouth. We are now looking for a data-driven marketing guru to build out new channels and accelerate this momentum to lead us to 1 million users and beyond!
As Director of Growth Marketing, you will:
Lead all things growth — customer acquisition, retention and conversion
Develop our paid social, email marketing and SEO strategy
Work closely with our founders and engineers to launch growth experiments
Collaborate with the biggest names in sports media and sports betting
Manage our ever-growing influencer marketing network
Help build the marketing team at Pikkit
Desired skills & experience:

Proficiency in measurement platforms and analytics tools (e.g. AppsFlyer, Amplitude, etc.)
Results driven with a meticulous eye for details, you are obsessed with optimizing campaigns and can’t stop won’t stop till you squeeze out the last drop of efficiency. Your alter-ego lives on the efficient-frontier.
Strong initiative and ability to thrive in ambiguity — startup or personal project experience is a major plus
Constantly challenging the status quo, you find yourself asking pivotal questions, and turn to existing data or launch experiments to answer them.
Data obsessed and self sufficient when it comes to gathering the data you need. You don’t find yourself writing tickets for the analytics team to make your dashboards, you know SQL/Looker and you make them yourself.
Experience, interest or familiarity with sports or sports betting is also a major plus
