We believe that the future of virtual worlds is bright, and we're excited to be at the forefront of this industry. As we continue to grow and expand our platform, we're looking for talented individuals to join us on this journey of innovation and creativity. If you're passionate about building the platform to power virtual experiences that bring people together and push the boundaries of what's possible, we want you on our team!

About the Role

You will be working on the Live Ops team, reporting to Anton Bernstein, CEO and Co-founder. (Please note that if you reach out to Anton, he may not reply due to the volume of messages received.)

Join us as a Senior Producer at Highrise, where you'll lead our Live Operations team. In this exciting role, you'll be in charge of planning weekly events and daily content releases in the Highrise world. You'll work closely with our Product, Art, and Marketing teams to create and analyze content. To excel in this role, you should have a strong passion for gaming and enjoy collaborating with others, whether it's leading new events or contributing to them. Your role is crucial to our success, and we're eager to find the right person to join our team and help us thrive.

Program Management:

  • Develop, track, and report on short and long-term live ops team deliverables.

  • Define, assign, and ensure completion of priorities and tasks.

  • Collaborate with product leadership to clarify team goals and set backlog priorities.

Strategy:

  • Identify gaps in our strategy and oversee projects to enhance Highrise's operations.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with product, development, and art teams, as well as players.

  • Ensure high-quality releases through collaboration with engineering, product leadership, and art.

Leadership:

  • Facilitate effective communication among teams and individuals, both in writing and verbally.

  • Provide clear vision and direction to team members, promoting ownership of problem-solving and feature development.

  • Maintain transparency in progress, status, and risk reporting, along with quantitative production delivery metrics.

Here are the skills and qualities we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Expertise in keeping teams aligned with evolving plans.

  • Proficiency in various development methodologies (e.g., Agile), team management, and project scheduling.

  • Familiarity with game industry-standard software tools, design documents, and production best practices.

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.

  • Exceptional meeting facilitation and team collaboration skills.

  • Effective mediation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Over 5 years of experience delivering products/services in live environments.

  • Excellent time management, change management, and deadline-oriented focus.

  • Previous production experience in a creative industry.

  • Experience with project status and risk reporting.

  • A passion for and experience with playing games, especially those with robust loops and events.

  • Senior Producer experience covering the full production cycle from concept to launch and live operations.

Nice to Haves

  • You have experience with Amplitude, SQL, Shortcut (or other task managers), and Notion.
