Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Trainer / Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this dual-capacity role, you will be responsible for developing user-friendly product documentation and delivering engaging training sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, customer success, and marketing to ensure that product knowledge is accessible, accurate, and empowering.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Writing:

  • Create and maintain user guides, release notes, technical documentation, FAQs, and help center content for RightRev’s product suite
  • Translate complex product features into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to stay up to date on new features, updates, and use cases
  • Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and voice across all documentation

Training:

  • Design, develop, and deliver live and recorded training sessions for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop learning content such as slide decks, videos, walkthroughs, and tutorials
  • Own onboarding materials and product knowledge for customer success and sales enablement
  • Gather feedback on training effectiveness and iterate to improve knowledge retention and user experience

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, product training, instructional design, or a similar role in a SaaS or tech company
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition or financial/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ/Billing, NetSuite, Zuora, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Experience with tools like Confluence, Loom or similar platforms for documentation and training
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail
