Role & Responsibility

SCBP role is to contribute to the growth of the company from the aspects of driving the business by leveraging the S&OP/IBP process and of increasing BOI by managing inventory and establish/ operate optimal supply processes in accordance with the Sanofi's growth strategy.

SCBP SPC Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand forecast: Embed within the business teams to prepare best forecast based on Macro factors, Business Plans and Partner Alliance [Measure: MAPE/SPA, Business Growth, New Launch success]
  • S&OP/IBP: Lead all the steps of S&OP, bringing together different internal functions and using data to make the best decisions to meet and exceed business objectives
  • Service: Ensure product availability by coordinating with factory in Japan and Global Supply Chain counterparts. Communicate, manage and mitigate service risks [Measure: Fill Rate, On Time In Full]
  • Inventory: Define right levels of inventory on hand in track inventory in trade to ensure no excess or shortage. Ensure that we maintain the right levels based on definition and work on ways to improve overall cash flow from the perspective of the patient [Measure: Inventory Days, Inventory in €]
  • Product portfolio: Manage new products launch and pruning.
  • Excess & Obsolete: Highlight risks of E&O in the future and create mitigation plans in collaboration with the business team, manufacturing locations and local distribution team [Measure: E&O € vs Budget]
  • Change Management: Work with stakeholders within Factory and SC Japan on Change management to ensure all projects related to changes to the project and capacity are well managed [Measure: Seamless communication, Feedback]
  • Compliance: Comply with related laws/regulations and global policy/SOP and regularly update SOPs and internal procedures to ensure adherence across the organization
  • HSE: organize and maintain the HSE management system and performance
