About you

We are seeking a Service Owner for the Apollo platform who will gather and analyze crucial financial and technology-related data. This will include information related to applications targeted for migration to the Public Cloud and key data associated with existing on-premises infrastructure, HW & SW contracts, Data Centers, and lease agreements. The Service Owner will track and measure progress against financial targets defined in the Business Case and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for:

  • Analyzing data to identify opportunities for data referential improvement or cleansing and determining chances to remove orphan applications and infrastructure. The Service Owner will recommend and lead targeted task forces to address these opportunities.

  • Managing and performing tasks to align spending and savings with Business case projections. This includes analyzing data, migration patterns, and trends and providing regular updates and reports to Sanofi management on progress and KPIs.

  • Collaborating closely with ITS Business & Process Analysts and ITS Domain Experts / Engineers and engaging with architects, engineers, app teams, and business units as required.

  • Ensuring all necessary data and metrics are accurately captured to provide snapshots of current application costs and technology versions, and then continuously monitoring and reporting progress against these metrics/targets throughout the program's lifecycle as applications migrate to the Public Cloud.

  • Remaining up-to-date on the company’s standards, IT industry practices, and emerging standards through training, seminars, and workshops.

As the Service Owner for Apollo, the individual will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven insights, enhancing efficiencies, and ensuring successful migration to the Public Cloud, thereby contributing to the company's digital transformation and growth.

Background & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.

  • Work experience: 10+ years in IT with expertise in SQL, Power BI, and ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with general application and Cloud concepts on Azure / AWS / Google, including Regions, Zones, PaaS & IaaS services.

  • Strong background in IT data analysis, contracts, IT financial costing, Business Cases, financial tracking, and reporting.

  • Proficiency in English Language.
