Sanofi specialty care HEVA is a department that enables value creation and enhance Sanofi competitiveness by supporting the global business units and other internal customers in Business Decision Making and Operational Excellence in Execution. The mission of the department is to facilitate internal strategic decision making along the life cycle of medicines and vaccines, to bring the proof of value that healthcare stakeholders need to make the best choices, and to help patients to receive the treatment they need promptly, and for as long as they need.
Main responsibilities
Serve as project lead for designated therapeutic areas within Global Sanofi specialty care Health Economics, Value Assessment (HEVA) to conduct network meta-analysis/indirect treatment comparison (NMA/ITC) in support of market access, reimbursement evidence or medical affairs needs
Identify, select vendors, and manage deliveries in collaboration with internal stakeholders, especially HEVA Business Partners (BPs)
Consult with HEVA team members, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to develop the evidence generation plan with rigorous methodology and ensure timely execution to meet evidence needs
Provide oversight of the project team during systematic literature review design, data extraction, and quality assessment
Lead the feasibility assessment of conducting network meta-analysis or indirect treatment comparisons
Develop or review study protocols/statistical analysis plans
Design analysis across global markets
Ensure the highest standards of excellence are applied to these studies from scientific perspective and in full compliance with Sanofi standards of process and requirements from health authorities
Conduct analysis through programming expertise for comparative efficacy/effectiveness studies and create or review study reports
Provide statistical expertise to effectively communicate the findings within cross-functional teams including HEVA, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and local affiliates
Serve as the engagement lead on evidence synthesis projects, including the coordination and integration of scientific and medical input from internal team members and external vendors or KOLs to meet project deadlines
Interpret, communicate the findings to internal audience and assist with the development of and submission of peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, and posters
ABOUT YOU
Experience
Minimum 5 years working experience as a statistician supporting HEOR studies
Demonstrated records of publication activities
Soft skills
Ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of audience
Ability to function autonomously
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to diverse clients and project needs
Technical skills
Proficient with mathematical/statistical programming packages, such as R
Strong experience with HTA submissions (NICE, HAS) and good knowledge of technical support documents (e.g. NICE DSU)
In-depth understanding of methodological issues in clinical trials and network meta-analysis
Expertise with standard programming packages, full proficiency with MS Office
Education
MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative sciences with demonstrated record of complex modeling
Languages
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
