ABOUT THE JOB
You will be responsible for leading the digital innovation initiatives, identifying emerging technologies, fostering a culture of innovation, and optimizing strategic partnerships. Your strategic vision and leadership will enable us to stay at the forefront of the industry, deliver innovative solutions, and drive transformational growth.
You will also support the start-ups of Future4care for the development of their solutions and Go to Market.
1. External Partnerships: Establish and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, including promising Biotech startups, technology companies, research institutions, and key opinion leaders. Leverage these partnerships to access cutting-edge technologies, co-develop innovative solutions, and drive digital transformation.
2. Partnering Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic and proactive digital partner program aligned with the company’s digital strategy. Identify optimal partners based on strategic themes, goals, and measures. Drive deal processes and lead cross-functional teams to develop optimal deal structures and negotiate agreements. Actively manage partner relationships aligning delivery milestones against plans.
3. Digital Innovation Strategy: In close collaboration with the Strategy team, develop and execute a comprehensive digital innovation strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, digital trends, and disruptive innovations to enhance our products, services, and processes.
4. Technology Scouting: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, start-ups, and digital trends in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential digital partners, collaboration opportunities, and acquisition targets.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including R&D, marketing, and GBUs, to drive innovation projects. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages cross-functional teams to explore and implement innovative digital solutions.
6. Innovation Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust innovation pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of ideas and projects. Evaluate and prioritize innovation opportunities based on strategic alignment, feasibility, and potential impact.
7. Emerging Technology Evaluation: Evaluate the potential impact and feasibility of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and digital therapeutics. Identify opportunities to integrate these technologies into our existing processes and develop new business models.
8. Risk Management: Assess potential risks and challenges associated with digital innovation initiatives and partnerships. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
9. Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to digital innovation and partnerships in the pharmaceutical sector. Represent the company as a thought leader at conferences, industry events, and digital health forums.
- A proven track record of leadership in driving digital innovation, digital strategy, partnering, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of digital trends, emerging technologies, and their applications in the healthcare sector.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing external partnerships and collaborations, with a strong network in the digital health ecosystem.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry dynamics.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards relevant to digital health and pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and driving business transformation.
