About the job

A new internal opportunity has arisen in our Amsterdam office as Digital Technology Europe - Enterprise & Full Stack Expert. In this role you will help Area Tech Manager in Benelux with transversal support for all GBU/GFU in North MCO (Multi Countries Organization) composed by Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway) and countries in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) including R&D (Research & Development) sites.

The Digital Technology team: Sanofi has recently embarked on a vast and ambitious digital transformation program. A first step to this transformation was bringing all IT (Information Technology), Digital and Data functions under a Global Chief Digital Officer reporting to Sanofi’s CEO (Chief Executive Officer). The new Digital organization is implementing a 3-year strategy that will drive business growth, operating income, and cost efficiency from enterprise-wide agile digital transformation.

The digital roadmap will facilitate the acceleration of R&D (Research & Development) drug discovery, intelligent supply chain, manufacturing digital factory of the future and commercial performance, bringing better drugs and vaccines to patients faster, to improve health and save lives.

Main responsibilities

  • Transversally contribute to all GBU/GFU with the strategy of development for Service Desk and Onsite services, working with the Global Service Desk and Global Onsite Leads, regional digital Tech teams, and Customer-Facing Digital Technology to agree the optimal roadmap for Tech
  • Collaborate in obtaining the highest levels of user experience and satisfaction for all Technology services delivered to their perimeter, including new service introductions
  • The focus is to collaborate with vendors and all Digital Technology units to deliver Technology Services to those countries
  • Support the overall strategy for Service Desk and Onsite Support services across all GBU/GFU, working with various global and regional teams to optimize the Tech roadmap
  • Focus on ensuring end-user support operations are performing in line with contractual SLAs
  • Support the delivery of additional services such as Mobile and Fixed Telephony, Telecom Expense Management, Printing, Foundation services (e.g.: LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Data center, etc.)
  • Identify and execute opportunities to automate, consolidate or rationalize service delivery in the perimeter in agreement with service owners and Digital Market Leaders
  • Ensure that in-scope local services follow the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and approved OLAs/SLAs
  • Serve as the Technology on-site point of contact and escalation contact for incidents and service requests for the business and other Digital Technology units

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Science
  • Proven record of accomplishment of owning and delivery Technology Services in large organization
  • Considerable experience in healthcare industry for service
  • Strong technical understanding across a range of technologies/domains
  • Experience with working in a matrix organization environment and ability to influence other business leaders
  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • Leadership skills with drive, innovation, and a powerful sense of commitment, and adaptive to change
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of change management and release processes
  • Knowledge of Windows/O365
  • ITSM for Technology Regions as Incident, Requests, Problem and Asset management, and audit support
  • Oral and written business proficiency in English and Dutch, French will be a plus
