About the job

This position is part of the P2P Global Process Owner team within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization, reporting to the Head of BPO transformation and the Global P2P project team. The purpose of the Global P2P Continuous Improvement and Project Manager is to take full responsibility and ownership of the management of selected Global P2P process improvement initiatives and selected global P2P projects. These initiatives and projects have the aim to drive Global P2P process transformation as well a Core model standardization, including implementation of Global P2P tools and systems towards at least peer group benchmark in terms of efficiency (P&L, Headcount) and business / user experience. This includes continuous improvements and next generation developments in the P2P end-to-end process across the business units.

Global P2P Continuous Improvement and Project manager is working in a matrix environment, they are functionally reporting for the initiative / project they drive towards the respective Global Process Lead of the P2P sub-process. Global Process Leads will guide content wise on the delivery of the continuous improvement initiatives / projects.

In this role you will…

Global Accountability on continuous improvements and projects

  • Develop project plan at the right level, identifying sequence of activities, durations, milestones, etc.
  • Drive progress of the plan and track action items and interdependencies to deliver on time
  • Prioritize, challenge and resolves issues
  • Monitor progress of project for business value, document lessons learned and best practices, closeout project summarizing achievements & improvements
  • Change Control - ability to assess changes and impacts to cost, schedule, and quality and recommend course of action
  • Effectively plan for, secure and manage internal and external resources
  • Forecasting costs and benefits and securing funds and contracts
  • Collaborate with Global P2P Process Lead to define core model systems/application, providing subject matter expertise, and solving complex issues to simplify, standardize and improve end to end processes
  • Leverage and support P2P process improvement initiatives towards
  • Collect, create, understand and share best practices from within Sanofi Business Service or external best-in-class service organizations
  • Understand and support on P2P relevant IT systems and tools on a global level to guarantee an optimized P2P process
  • Strong collaboration with the Global P2P process lead
  • Be technically on top of the external developments of relevant IT systems of the P2P processes and ensure P2P process innovation is implemented accordingly at Sanofi
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Internal Controls

About you

  • Academic degree, preferable in Finance, Economics
  • Handful experience in highly complex process improvements and transformation management, thereof direct work experience in Finance / Internal Control / Procurement / P2P / SSC environment
  • Very strong expertise in P2P processes, systems and solutioning
  • Must have experience of working with key stakeholders across functions up to Senior management level in international company with exposure to multicultural environment
  • Leadership & collaboration skills: Ability to lead and guide people to work towards a common set of goals on global and regional level without having formal leadership responsibility
  • Establishes priorities and timelines to effectively manage workload of self and others. Able to multi-task exceptionally well
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with limited supervision, deliver high level of user experience service and proven track record of managing assignments with strict deadlines
  • Proven efficient analytical skills; attention to detail, diligently follow up on many items that are simultaneously in various stages of completion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Must a be a self-starter - have a high degree of personal initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Executive presence, capability to negotiate and convince
  • Strategic thinking and process impact understanding
  • Ability to influence in a context of high resistance to change
  • Ability to translate process / organization improvement into concrete P&L savings
