Our Team:

The Key Suppliers Operations Lead, KSOL, will be integrated in the Manufacturing & Supply environment of CHC Cologne site and be part of the Site Leadership Team.

Main responsibilities:

• Be responsible for site project portfolio for procurement and material sourcing related projects to improve BOI and supply robustness
• Ensure resource planning and scheduling to deliver according to the agreed project portfolio and manage the action plans.
• Act as interface between site departments (Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, PPM, etc.), global functions (Procurement, Supply Chain, Lean & Performance, Finance, etc.) and suppliers.
• Coordinate required functions in order to implement required changes.
• Actively propose and review proposed optimization of specifications of raw and packaging materials considering end-to-end processes.
• Lead improvement projects in both Cost of goods (COGS and non-COGS) area to improve site business operating income (BOI)

About you

Education and professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Biology, Chemistry or other similar relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a Pharma/Bio setting, preferably within Manufacturing & Supply (at site/division/global level or in a global function), like for example process improvements, SMS, sourcing, procurement, production, quality, tech transfers

Soft skills

• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Robust project management skills
• Ability to quickly draw the big picture and solve problems

Technical skills

• Candidates with a mixed Supplier Relationship/Operations/Leadership background could be a very good fit. Prior exposure to industrial affairs in an operational role, and/or experience in performance improvement/ transformation projects is a plus
• Successful, multi-year track-record of managing complex, cross-functional projects /programs
• Either technical background (e.g.: manufacturing, engineering), or procurement/negotiation/sourcing background, or roles requiring strong analytical skills (e.g.: finance, audit)
• Analytical capacity for sound data analysis
• Experience in an environment connected with supplier topics would be a plus
• Analytical capacity for sound data analysis
