Within the EVolutive Facility (EVF) project, the EVF Operations Engineer (Intern) participates in all activities from design to eventual operational setup of the facility in Tuas. He / She will be working closely with engineering, manufacturing technology, Digital, safety and quality teams to implement a lean, flexible and efficient asset focusing on the agility and easiness to manufacture any product needed from Phase 2 and/or 3 Clinical Material to routine Commercial production.

About the Team

Under the responsibility of the Operation Stream Leader, from Project design and execution phase, up to routine manufacturing, the Intern will:

For General Services / Manufacturing Process / Manufacturing Support Engineer Intern

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology (M-Tech) and Engineering & Technical Services (ETS) to define and design the best operations workflow (for both area and equipment arrangement) that will enable multi-product manufacturing based on standardized process platforms implementation and overall support functions capability.

• Design a safe operations workflow in compliance with local and Sanofi global employment and health & safety legislation.

• Ensure compliance with cGMP as well as all Sanofi Quality requirements.

• Lead / execute validation activities as part of the site start up activities.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials for operation workstream team that he / she is assigned to.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing 4.0 Integrated Manufacturing Solutions team to implement digital tools for production and training.

For Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer Intern

• Collaborate with Manufacturing 4.0, Digital, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of digital applications supporting the Manufacturing operations (Manufacturing Execution Systems, Historian)

• Work with other computerized systems to support their integration with MES and Historian (DCS, SAP, etc)

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials to support and use of MES and Historian

• Ensure compliance with cGMP as well as all Sanofi Quality requirements.

About You

Breadth of responsibility (global/regional/country/site):

• Scope is Greenfield EVF site in Tuas - minimum of three workdays in the site office per week.

• Impact on defining, designing, and implementing the right operational manufacturing approach for the above-mentioned support functions for the first EVFs.

• Engage and working closely specifically with M-Tech, ETS, HSE, Quality and Manufacturing 4.0 teams.

• Candidate will need to be eligible for a credit-bearing internship
