Who You Are:
You’ll join as one of four role types in the Sanofi Data and AI Future Catalyst Program - a 2-year program that will provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to try different projects and learn about our different pharmaceutical business domains. This opportunity will allow for personal and professional growth, as no two experiences will be alike and you’ll have the opportunity to carve your own path. You’ll work with multi-faceted teams to design and build AI products, create cutting-edge, scalable platforms, and enable Sanofi to make the best value of data, transforming people’s lives in 90+ countries around the global. Whatever projects you’re working on, you’ll learn from world-class leaders who come from industry and academia backgrounds, pushing you to stretch your goals and achieve your best.
As a member of Sanofi’s Global AI Centre of Excellence in Toronto, you will be working on a team that is globally diverse, with members here in Toronto as well as across our global hubs in France, Spain and USA. You’ll be engaged in a structured program that’s focused on driving the growth of your technical knowledge and business acumen. Based on your skills and background, you’ll be aligned to one of Sanofi’s five core data and AI functions to deliver on meaningful strategic initiatives - whether that be in data science, data and business analysis, data and ML engineering, software engineering, or data and AI strategy. This approach ensures that you specialize in your area of interest, while being engaged as part of a larger cohort of colleagues to collectively build core skills in strategic problem solving, product design, agile ways of working, and leadership. Upon completion of the two years, you’ll be provided the opportunity to a preferred position, responding to Sanofi’s business needs.
Data and business analyst – As a data and business analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of strategic data initiatives, from product development through to the establishment of data foundations and management of critical solutions. This includes data management, business analysis, data governance and real world evidence.
Develop detailed knowledge of Sanofi’s data, data flows, and processes .
Perform data analysis and provide input to solution design and architecture to ensure the solution meets requirements.
Extract, aggregate, manipulate, categorize, clean, and transform data associated within an identified problem space.
Partner with stakeholders to get buy-in on, develop, and implement Sanofi’s data management standards, policies, and best practices.
Drive alignment across stakeholders on enterprise data models and definitions.
Develop and implement procedures for effective data management aligned with FAIR principles.
Perform exploratory data analysis and feature generation.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets .
Recommend KPIs and develop reports to monitor adoption of and adherence to data management standards.
Collaborate with the Product Owner, business, digital and data teams .
Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, business, economics, management analytics, operations research, or another relevant quantitative field. Masters degree is considered an asset.
Experience with any or all of: product design, system design, project management, design thinking and data structures.
Strong communication skills, organization and critical thinking.
Demonstrated leadership potential (e.g. through Student Organizations, previous jobs, etc.).
Passion for life sciences and global healthcare.
We are interested in meeting Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students who have graduated from their latest degree within the last 24 months. Minimum GPA 3.0/grade B is preferred.
