The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney Australia, to promote our leading Consumer Healthcare portfolio into Pharmacies and to provide high quality information to Health Care or Animal Health Professionals.

The CHC Sales Representative is responsible for achievement of sales budgets (targets), maximising product distribution, shelf positioning, merchandising, business development plans and account relationships for a designated territory.

Taking responsibility for all aspects of merchandising in designated accounts, ensuring client gains the full impact and benefit of promotional activity by placing POS, maintaining maximum visibility and product availability.

The successful candidate will be promoting these products within the Metro Inner West & Eastern Suburbs territory. The region also includes the country area of Tamworth & Armidale.

Please note that this is a fixed term contract until June 2024 with possibility to extend.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sales to budget – Achieve sales budget and executional measures as nominated by the National/Sales Manager.
  • Maximise product distribution, shelf positioning and merchandising as determined by the State/Field Manager & in accordance with marketing/promotional plans.
  • Awareness of reporting on competitor and industry activity to enable the review of the impact on marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmacy accounts which will give our company the high profile necessary to achieve long term success.
  • During special promotions, ensure correct and current promotional material is on display and placed correctly, checking any special pricing is correct.
  • Ensure that all day to day business activities are conducted in accordance with company policy and in an ethical manner.
  • Maintain an agreed call rate and call frequency.
  • Work in line with the Safe Driver Policy, Motor Vehicle Policy &other relevant HSE policies and procedures

About You & Key Criteria for the role:

  • Healthcare or FMCG industry experience
  • Current valid Drivers license
  • Well developed customer & client service skills
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret territory data
  • Developed negotiation and communication skills
  • Highly organised and driven
  • Territory & Stakeholder management skills
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong Product & Competitor knowledge
