About the Opportunity:

You can join Sanofi in the US Vaccines Business Unit as the Senior Director, Professional Marketing, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). You are a dynamic, experienced marketer with expertise in healthcare professional marketing interested in an exciting opportunity to launch a revolutionary product to protect infants against RSV. You are highly customer focused with proven ability to continuously collect and integrate insights into brand strategy and tactics. You are skilled as creating and leading high performing teams with strong accountability for achieving brand objectives. Job Highlights

You will report to the Head of the RSV Franchise and will be a key leader on the RSV Marketing Team. You will work closely with other marketing team members who are responsible for aspects of digital and portfolio marketing. You will also be a key member of the core launch team working closely with other functions such as Global Marketing, Market Research, Medical Affairs, and Analytics.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the US RSV healthcare professional strategy, differentiated messaging, and execution

  • Lead brand specific channel strategies, implementation approach, field engagement plans, and supply plans

  • Identify brand opportunities within and across professional customer segments

  • Achieve annual sales and profit targets while updating short and long term forecasts

  • Develop professional marketing budgets in proportion to their impact on revenues to achieve the greatest profit contribution

  • Lead management of the overall brand budget working with Finance

  • Continuously monitor and use insights from the rapidly-changing competitive landscape to shape overall brand strategy and adjust execution

  • Identify brand growth objectives and risk mitigation plans to maximize brand value

  • Manage HCP agency partner relationship and execution

  • Develop and track key performance indicators to demonstrate impact against goals

  • Collaborate with transversal partners to ensure alignment of brand strategic imperatives in sales, account management, medical, demand management priorities.

  • Routinely expand relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to uncover opportunities, which enhance value to customers.

  • Recruit and develop talent

People and Organization

  • Lead a team with direct reports

  • Provide personal leadership to inspire and motivate marketing team, other internal functions, and agency partners to continuously strive for excellence

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in business administration or life sciences

  • 8-10 years experience in Pharma/vaccines (inclusive of 3+years of HCP marketing experience)

  • Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment​

  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or masters

  • Marketing, product launch, policy or marketing access experience in the U.S.

  • Deep experience in the US within a buy and bill market

  • Team leadership (people management) experience

  • Demonstrated breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including; the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

  • Demonstrated experience in working with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical in a solutions-based partnership
