Summary of Purpose/Major responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory testing/support activities associated with a given project or task.

• Will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording of all data using specified formats.

• May be required to assist with the generation or revision of documentation associated with laboratory activities/processes or for monitoring, ordering, and/or receiving of laboratory supplies and reagents.

• Will perform general laboratory housekeeping, maintenance and care of instruments and equipment.

• Will ensure that corporate, quality, regulatory and safety procedures are always being observed and followed.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• Specialized Degree in Biological Sciences from an accredited University

• B.Sc. + Six Months

• Six months experience working in a BSL-2 environment

Must have:

Experience with either Ligand Binding or SBA assays.

Preferred:

Experience with assay development, qualification and/or validation.
