We have recently announced an exciting 18-24 month journey to create a fully standalone CHC business (separating the Business Unit from our Pharma company heritage, processes etc.), as we target to create the best FAST MOVING CONSUMER HEALTHCARE company, which will require us to retain, attract and grow the best leaders in our industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

Role

Innovation Project Manager will be accountable for E2E responsibility on innovation projects for local brands, leading a cross-functional team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Gather all inputs to assess eligibility of project and subsequent inputs across the Innovation process: brand requirement, consumer research, business case, science/ reg constraints, risk assessment​, feasibility assessment

  • Prepare project timeline

  • Closely follow the development with Science​ / Development Centers

  • Prepare production scale-up with IA​

  • Handle relationship with CDMOs for outsourced activities​

  • Gather brand team’s input for initial launch plan​

  • Conduct launch readiness analysis​

  • Conduct in-market success analysis (post-launch)

  • Responsible for input info in the Innovation System and prepare documents and presentation for the Inno Committee

  • Produce dashboards to monitor projects performance​ and share with key stakeholders

  • Manage multiple projects in parallel

  • Manage project budget as per allocation defined by end-client of the project

Key Working Relationship and Interfaces

  • Local Brand Innovation Leads

  • Science process experts (medical, regulatory, development centers, procurement, M&S, finance, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification

  • Experience in innovation and project management gained at Consumer Healthcare or FMCG / FMCH company

  • Ability to understand requirements from the different functions, especially Science​

  • Top-notch project management capabilities​:

    • Lead cross-functional team and set the pace for delivery​

    • Strong reporting capabilities, without bias​

    • Ability to manage several projects in parallel​

  • Demonstrate strong ‘can-do’ attitude​

  • High capacity of persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with cross functional partners

  • Good communication and partnership skills

  • English & Japanese are mandatory
