Join Sanofi as Head of People Services - Global Business Operations.
In this role you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a global team of 480 team members based in 47 countries with 4 hub locations (Budapest, Kuala Lumpur, Bogota and Hyderabad). With your team composed of 10+ senior leaders your aim is to deliver best in class service and solutions to all Sanofi businesses.
Our Team:
People Services is one of four service towers in Business Operations, supports all 90,000 Sanofians across the world with People & Culture related processes: From Hire to Retire, including Payroll, Time, Benefits, Learning and External workforce as well as application support and “connect to resolve”.
The team makes sure all Sanofians across the globe get paid on time, supports their on- and offboarding as well as job changes, provides knowledge articles in OneSuport, responds to employee and manager queries. People Services also helps to implement changes and new features for Workday and other P&C applications, maintains Sanofi’s Learning Management System i-Learn and answers learner queries. People Services is an essential part of the People & Culture team and operating model, partnering closely to deliver on Sanofi’s People Strategy and Key Priorities. Employee Experience, process simplification, harmonization by design and automation are always top of mind.

Main responsibilities:
Accountable for high quality and compliant delivery of People Services process scope as well as continuous process improvement in line with external best practices
Responsible for implementing critical projects (such as payroll transitions, simplified Workday business processes and other technologies) and ensure that they are effectively utilized to create capacity
Inspire and engage the SBS People Services team by co-designing strategy and executing against the associated roadmap, aligned to Sanofi’s People & Culture Operating Model and People Services core model evolutions (defined processes with roles and responsibilities that are also embedded in technology and workflows, measured by performance indicators)
Accountable for building a strong partnership with the People & Culture Leadership Team, coaching and leading the People Services leadership team on stakeholder management, personal development plans as well as establishing a robust planning process around resource allocation for projects, alignment to business priorities, financial planning
Create a culture of strong collaboration and teamwork between country and captive teams as well as key stakeholders such as P&C Partners, COEs, other service lines, Digital and external partners
Create a psychologically safe and fair work environment that attracts talents, fosters employee’s development and makes them feel included
Communicate vision, set stretch goals and create opportunities for personal growth and learning for the team
Empower the team to improve processes, sponsor them and remove road-blocks
Provide effective career guidance and coaching support to leaders
Timely, accurate and compliant delivery for service scope
Ensure Workday is single source of truth, flowing into payroll & enabling data analysis
Support potential acquisitions and dispositions and other strategic business projects
Strong focus on KPIs and root cause analysis in case of defects, developing action plans with the support of GPOs and GPLs, driving reliable follow-through
Understand and follow best practices from external best practices and implement them in Sanofi where it applies
Complete the implementation of the core model for external workforce, automated on-/off-boarding for the remaining countries (France, Germany, China, US)
Contribute to further streamline data flows and improve interface effectiveness
Coordinate the roll-out of new simplified Workday business processes to further improve self-service for managers for Hire, On- and Offboarding, including alignment of timelines, customizing self-help materials, organizing trainings and driving change management proactively
Work closely with Learning Delivery and Talent Acquisition Leader as well as People Analytics in People & Culture to contribute to design and roll out of future operating model (including technology choices, make or buy decisions, delivery model)
Own financial planning and execution of roadmap to meet objectives
Work closely with GPOs and Head of Program Management to ensure their priorities are aligned to global critical projects for the People & Culture function, have project managers assigned and support local teams with project management background
Responsible for setting up global governance with People & Culture, Digital, Finance, Procurement, Internal Controls etc. and manage all deliverables on time
About you
Experience: Leadership experience in HR Services / GBS delivery across regions and leading HR transformation projects, including change management at global scale

Soft skills:
Ability to build effective teams through mutual understanding of the targets in a complex and fast changing environment.
Ability to shape culture, motivate a group of people to work towards a common set of goals aligned with the overall business objectives.
Excellent communicator with an ability to discuss on different levels within Sanofi and externally ensuring an impactful communication (facilitate and steer difficult conversations to sustainable outcomes and move to action).
Strong problem-solving conflict management and self-organization skills.
Technical skills: Workday knowledge, experience with Workday implementation represents an added value
Education: Graduate or Master’s degree with HR or Business Administration or similar
Languages: Oral and written fluency in English, French represents an asset
