2024 INROADS Intern - Global Discovery Pathology
Location: 350 Water Street, Cambridge, MA
Global Discovery Pathology is committed to delivering project-focused solutions for all Sanofi research projects by providing integrated expertise in translational/comparative pathobiology, specialized histology, and innovative cellular and molecular imaging through our agile, empowered, and collaborative team. Our team consists of board-certified veterinary pathologists, boarded histologists, and molecular biologists/imaging scientists who use state-of-the-art technology to probe the human disease biology using cellular, in-vitro and in-vivo models. Our team works on projects across all research therapeutic areas including Immunology and Inflammation, Oncology, and Rare and Neurologic Diseases.
The intern will shadow Global Discovery Pathology team members and then work on a short term projects in one or more discovery pathology laboratories.
There will be opportunities for cross-functional training in immunopathology, digital pathology, machine learning/AI and quantitative image analysis.
The intern will be expected to review project-relevant scientific literature and present data through poster and oral presentations.
This is an excellent opportunity to be mentored by pathologists, cell biologists, histologists and scientists experienced in drug discovery and development.
Must be a member of the INROADS Program
Currently enrolled in a college undergraduate program
Highly motivated team player
Familiar with common windows applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Good communication skills
