2024 INROADS Intern - Global Discovery Pathology

Location: 350 Water Street, Cambridge, MA

OUR TEAM:

Global Discovery Pathology is committed to delivering project-focused solutions for all Sanofi research projects by providing integrated expertise in translational/comparative pathobiology, specialized histology, and innovative cellular and molecular imaging through our agile, empowered, and collaborative team. Our team consists of board-certified veterinary pathologists, boarded histologists, and molecular biologists/imaging scientists who use state-of-the-art technology to probe the human disease biology using cellular, in-vitro and in-vivo models. Our team works on projects across all research therapeutic areas including Immunology and Inflammation, Oncology, and Rare and Neurologic Diseases.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The intern will shadow Global Discovery Pathology team members and then work on a short term projects in one or more discovery pathology laboratories.

  • There will be opportunities for cross-functional training in immunopathology, digital pathology, machine learning/AI and quantitative image analysis.

  • The intern will be expected to review project-relevant scientific literature and present data through poster and oral presentations.

  • This is an excellent opportunity to be mentored by pathologists, cell biologists, histologists and scientists experienced in drug discovery and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a member of the INROADS Program

  • Currently enrolled in a college undergraduate program

  • Highly motivated team player

  • Familiar with common windows applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Good communication skills
