Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Business Operations strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.
Main responsibilities:
Scientific Engagement Governance Lead, within the Medical Organization, will be the Lead to support the Sanofi Group in the analysis of Fair Market Value (FMV) for various engagements with External Experts across all Sanofi affiliates in different ex-US countries and Regions.
Lead will be responsible for the implementation of the FMV process.
This position will be accountable for the implementation and support of the FMV and tiering evaluation criteria and process for the company.
The Lead will provide guidance and support to medical team members within the various businesses to ensure accurate FMV assessments for their respective external experts.
The Lead will be responsible for managing the ex-US FMV Process and Tiering, oversee vendor support, and lead for process & system enhancement projects (at least but not limited to OneCRM), GOPs & Supporting documents forms updates.
Will be leader in proposing and implementing enhancement of the Global Sanofi systems to ensure improvements to current ways of working and implementation of Global tiering process in total Sanofi universe of countries.
People:
Serves as the SEG Lead for the centralization of all FMV/Medical Tiering initiatives working with all Sanofi Affiliates to ensure adherence to local rules and regulations and Company FMV requirements.
Lead of Tiering process for all countries included in Global tiering and beyond and have oversight and provide guidance to Sanofi Business operations tiering team.
Performance:
Provide subject matter expertise to all businesses/units with respect to FMV calculations and the process.
Oversee FMV calculations for ex-US Experts, all appeals, as well as maintenance and updates of the FMV calculators, for all Expert types – Scientific External Experts, Patients and PAGs and DOLs.
Go beyond current ways of working – propose OneCRM systems enhancements to ensure global tiering involvement for all the Sanofi countries and other Expert types like DOLs.
Ability to provide ad-hoc support to all supported businesses.
Process:
Ensure all FMV processes are compliant with Transparency and local requirements, including documentation and records retention.
Provide appropriate communications and training as needed across the organization.
Maintain SEG SharePoint site and shared drives with all processes, business rules and documents relating to the FMV process and tiering.
Stakeholders:
Maintain and ensure compliance with Fair Market Value calculations across all GBUs and GFs in ex-US countries.
Coordinate and Chair FMV meetings with Country stakeholders (which includes Country Medical Leads and/or Legal & Compliance if needed) to have an oversight to all FMV methodology and tiering points.
About you
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience.
Experience in managing Fair Market Value processes.
Knowledge of Research & Development Expert engagement activities.
Knowledge of Medical and Commercial Expert engagement activities, such as Advisory boards or SEEs speaker programs.
Candidate should have a strong background in Transversal Collaboration. Working across multiple departments to coordinate large scale projects and processes.
Ability to respond and make decisions in changing environment and circumstances.
Education: master’s degree in medical or Scientific background
Language: Proficient in English (spoken & written)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
