About the job

Our Team:

Treasury is mainly responsible for the financing, cash and risk management as well as insurance of SANOFI affiliates in Vietnam.

Treasury Vietnam is part of Sanofi Corporate/ Regional Treasury and oversees the following activities:

• Liquidity Management
• Local Financing
• Working Capital Optimization
• Credit Risk Management

We ensure affiliates’ liquidity and financing and ensure optimal capital structures.

We ensure effective cash management structures are implemented and optimize the Cash of SANOFI entities at the local level.

We support the Regional Treasury teams, always work in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders and supervise the relationships with Sanofi core banks.

We support Cashflow reporting and lead initiatives to optimize working capital of the Company.

We support the Treasury aspects of company transformational projects and strategic initiatives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Cash flow management: Spearhead and collaborate with internal business partners to run and prepare cash flow forecast, cash position variance analysis and recommend cash optimization solutions periodically and updated when required in a strict timely manner; engage in cash flow budgeting process with Financial Planning, Accounting and other key stakeholders.
• Optimize Cash Conversion Cycle by enhancing all working capital items: DSO, DPO, DIO; participate in in-depth management reporting and analysis on these business financial metrics to improve cash situation for the company.
• Monitor and manage actual cash flows versus forecast and budgeting plan; manage foreign exchange transactions and ensure timely reporting of FX deals and total FX exposure.
• Monitor vendor payables and collections closely; prepare and check payments and supporting documents to ensure payments are in line with Company policies and accounting guides.
• Manage bank cash balances and bank master data, ensure sufficient liquidity for funds transfer and payment duties; follow up payment status of all domestic and overseas remittances and incoming funds; perform daily bank journals entry, bank book creation and bank reconciliation.
• Bank dealing: Contact and obtain best pricing / rate offers from approved counterparty banks for foreign exchange, deposit and loan transactions.
• Execute loan drawdown process, review loan contracts, and monitor outstanding loan balances with banks.
• Assist in bank account management and bank payment services: KYC process, account opening, closing, mandate update / amendment, employee credit card management, monitor all relevant paperwork (POA, Board Resolutions, Credit Facilities Agreements, Bank Guarantees, etc.); maintain good relationship with banking partners and external finance stakeholders.
• Take a proactive role in milestone projects (cash dividend repatriation, business planning, employees share purchase management, internal & external audits)
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager

About you:

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree – in finance, accounting, or economics.

• Experience
  • Proven Experience in Financing & Treasury activities in Multinational companies.
  • Treasury experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Cash Management Structures in international environments.
• Soft skills
  • Advanced analytical skills, financial acumen, accuracy, and attention to details
  • Building partnership and trust over time with partners internally and externally with banks
  • Proven presentation skills, ability to communicate, assertiveness.
  • Team player, proactive and solution oriented

• Technical skills
  • Good background in accounting and/or financial analysis
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Excel

• Languages: fluent written and spoken English
