Your Purpose

  • Bring the voice of the shopper into the category growth teams, ensure winning strategies across multiple channels
  • Master the shopper profiles and behaviors
  • Own and lead shopper strategy definition and execution across the country in order to deliver winning Brand / Category Strategies at the POS (Online/Offline) based on shopper insights
  • Lead our customers with the appropriate guidance to suit shoppers’ desires and needs in our different categories
  • Be an active ambassador of Category, Shopper & future retail environment focused thinking
  • Be an active link between the brand marketing strategy and the customer needs to deliver a strong trade proposition

People Management Mindset

  • Develop and foster a culture of "can do”

Shopper profiling

  • Master shopper insights and own the shopper profiles (where they buy, how they shop, how they buy, what they buy) for the assigned categories/brands
  • Segment and target “priority” shopper profiles
  • Map purchasing drivers and barriers to be removed to maximize growth
  • Understanding of customer and trade business dynamics and needs

Shopper planning and execution

  • Define shopper strategies coherent with the brand positioning, able to conquer the targeted shopper profiles by maximizing the purchasing drivers and driving impact in-store
  • Define winning initiatives to win in store and drive sell-out in execution including:
  • Pricing
  • Visibility
  • In store advertising
  • Claims
  • Sampling
  • Driving disruptive sell-out mechanics to beat competition
  • Provide the customer teams with Action plan based on shopper research to turn those into actionable insights to enable the sales organization to have a richer dialogue with customers
  • Develop future focused category growth vision to ensure Sanofi is a market leader in must win sub-category and shopper understanding reinforcing external relationships
  • Develop and deliver annual shopper plan by channel
  • Based on shopper and channel data and in alignment with category and channel requirements
  • Ensure ROI effectiveness and Boost strategy alignment
  • Inputs to frame the “must stock list” based on shopper and consumer data and strategy
  • “Distribution” opportunities and action plans to close gaps
  • Stock

  • Sell-out
  • Category merchandising guidance in close cooperation with Customer Lead organization
  • MSL on shelf-Perfect store
  • Ensures execution of sustainable POSM initiative and track KPIs accordingly
  • Collaborate with Customer teams to define/deliver the supporting tools for engaging pharmacists and maximize support and recommendations when a growth driver
  • Own the financials, sizing the BTL investments and respecting the budget while executing whilst assessing ROI on activities
  • Monitor & drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual achievement of strategic objectives

💪 Your profile


  • Business or scientific background, Bachelor degree

Required knowledge and/or experience

  • Previous experience in Shopper Marketing
  • Current or previous experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies
  • Executional excellence and leadership
  • Strategic, integrative and analytical thinking
  • Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs
  • Creativity and problem-solving
  • Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross functional partners
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing business environment
  • Digitally Savvy
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
  • Strong business & financial acumen
  • Externally focused and customer orientated
  • Shopper marketing or trade marketing experience

Language skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) in Greek + English.
