Our Team:
The Global Regulatory Strategy, Partner Market, & Science COE Team is a diverse and inclusive team striving to Build a culture of excellence by:
- Driving operational effectiveness for regulatory processes
- Enabling strategic decision making on global regulatory strategy portfolio
- Bridging regulatory portfolio activities with brand needs
- Monitoring regulatory performance and budget
- Ensuring operational excellence and ensuring continuous improvement in Partner Markets (G2) for Science (including Regulatory, Medical and Pharmacovigilance)
- Creating value through a best in classe CoE structure for Science activities, processes and talented resources
The CHC Science Center of Excellence (CoE) is an internal resource organization based in several countries (e.g. India, Columbia, Hangary). The main Science CoE is based in India. They are set-up to centralize processes and activities (Regulatory, Medical, Pharmacovigilanvce, CMC, Labelling, Clinical operations) to run and support Science Customer functions. The CoE strives to be a partner for strategic and tactical deliveries for CHC Science globally to sustain world-class performance and value.
Main responsibilities:
- Establish and promote standardized processes and best practices within the CoE, ensuring consistency and alignment across business units, functions, or regions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing between teams and functions by providing training programs, workshops, and knowledge repositories for process improvement and excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the CoE by encouraging employees to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Monitor process performance within the CoE and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of process improvement efforts.
- Support change management efforts by providing guidance, tools, and resources for the adoption of new processes and ways of working.
- Explore emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in process management and excellence within the CoE to drive innovation.
- Establish governance structures and frameworks within the CoE to oversee and monitor process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Build process management capabilities within the CoE through training, coaching, and mentoring programs.
- Integrate global and local managers feedback and insights within into process improvement efforts to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Leverage technology within the CoE to enable process automation, digitization, and optimization.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to address cross-functional challenges and opportunities.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises within the CoE and share best practices with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the digital landscape for Science and user access management support for the CoE
About you
Education:
- Minimum MS; Pharm D, MD, PhD or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, ideally 8+ years in a Global position with a high level of exposure/interaction with local and regional teams and other corporate functions. Deep understanding and experience of the regulatory landscape and the unique challenges and opportunities faced by global regulatory organizations.
- 10 years of experience in scientific roles in the Life Science industry, preferably in pharmaceuticals or customer healthcare
- ≥5 years in leadership and team management positions
- Recognized experience in working in matrix organization
