As a Procurement Risk Framework and Excellence Lead within our Procurement Risk Management and Supplier Diversity Team, you will play a crucial role in driving our global procurement Risk strategy, ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations related to human rights, labour, corporate social responsibility and the procurement risk framework. You will collaborate closely with various departments and procurement domains to manage the onboarding and continuous assessment of suppliers with respect to the risk parameters and guidelines.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and design risk management policy, procedures, and tools to monitor and mitigate procurement risks effectively with respect to CSRD, CS3D.
  • Lead the workshop and stakeholder meetings.
  • Lead and maintain relationship with Human Rights, Risk labor expert in the CSR function to keep alignment on the strategy.
  • Manage the annual Living wage KPI and ensure supplier code of conduct and contracts.
  • Collaborate with HSE, Procurement Services Team and cross-functional teams (Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Assurance, Legal, and Compliance), Internal Audit and Internal Control.
  • Lead and run the Procurement Risk Council on a monthly basis.
  • Evaluate and improve the supplier risk program policies and processes to ensure compliance with new regulations such as EU supply chain due diligence and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

About you

Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years proven experience in Risk Management and/or procurement, supply chain management, within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry that is a must.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier relationship management and supply chain risk management principles.
  • Financial Audit and/or specific supplier audits, knowledge of pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or regulatory compliance requirements and negotiation skills can be a plus.

Soft skills:

  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results and work independently.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in business administration/Engineering degree: in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Other language knowledge is nice-to-have.
