The job corresponds to a new position, created as part of the autonomy roadmap of the Consumer Healthcare Global Business Unit (CHC GBU). Under the authority of the CHC Head of Consolidation, Group Reporting & Norms, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as the Head of Product Flow Consolidation (1 to 2 headcount). The Head of Finance Product Flow Consolidation organizes and supervises the product flow reporting through a dedicated TM1 cube (Polo) for approximately 60 entities and leads the corresponding consolidation process.

You will work closely with the Statutory Consolidation and the Group Controlling teams for managerial consolidation on a monthly basis and will be deeply involved in all finance projects, specifically those related to gross margin, inventory valuation, and intercompany margin elimination.

As the Head of Product Flow Consolidation, you will be responsible for reviewing team deliverables (CFO meeting and audit committee presentations, financial data in earnings press releases, financial statements) and will participate in the CFO’s quarterly review meetings.

Main responsibilities:

1. Financial Consolidation:

The Head of Product Flow Consolidation is in charge of the monitoring of this consolidation process for the full CHC Group with the support of 1 or 2 consolidation analysts. To do so, he/she does:

  • Monitor the reporting and consolidation process - actual and budget - on the product flows topics, and in particular the relationships with local CFOs and Polo controllers, providing specific instructions to the entities and conducting training sessions on all product flow topics

  • Ensure the quality and efficiency in correct deadlines of the reporting in Polo (dedicated TM1 cube)

  • Supervise the global internal margins reconciliation at Group level:

    • Managerial allocation to the Businesses P&L

    • Elimination to the Balance Sheet

    • Specific closing treatments such as Consolidation entries for sales loop, CTA, …

  • Provide high level analyses on local and consolidated figures for Polo process

  • Review and analyse the global inventory variation at Group level, based on the Group managerial hierarchy

  • Supervise the accuracy of unitary Standard costs reported by legal entities in term of legal value, consolidated value and upstream margin – for actual and budget process

  • Participate in the production of required mandatory documents

  • Liaise closely with the Head of the Statutory Consolidation and his/her team in order to ensure the consistency of the data and corresponding analyses

  • Liaise closely with the Group controlling to ensure the consistency of managerial data

  • Participate actively to the Group reporting process optimization adopting a continuous improvement spirit, being proactive in feedbacks and a creative force.

2. Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of the product flow consolidation process.

  • Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address audit queries on all product flow topics.

3. Projects and System strategy:

  • Develop and share with his/her team a comprehensive system strategy for product flow consolidation and reporting, aligning with organizational goals and best practices.

  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.

  • Participate to the implementation of system upgrades or replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximizing efficiency.

  • Propose and insure proper accounting treatments for inventory margins in case of acquisition, liquidation, mergers

  • Be a key contributor for development & evolution in financial treatments and automation of processes.

4. Manager and Key contact:

  • Recruit high skilled resources, promote and strongly develop talents (expertise and leadership)

  • Coach, train and develop in promoting the financial teams

  • Be a key interlocutor for all Group projects with impacts on Finance (CHC Carve In – Divestments, etc)

  • Liaise with multiple departments (Polo controllers, statutory consolidation process, controlling team…)

  • Be a key contact for all aspects of product flow consolidation process, projects and process development & evolution, requiring technical skills and group finance experience

  • Strong support on products flow consolidation topics (accounting questions, Polo process…)

  • Monitor trainings within Finance community

About you

  • You will need a Master’s degree in Finance to qualify for this position.

  • You should have a solid background in finance and accounting, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of financial principles.

  • You must bring extensive experience in financial consolidation and reporting processes, offering an end-to-end perspective, as well as proficiency in audit and controlling functions.

  • You are expected to be well-versed with consolidation software and systems, such as SAP FC, TM1, and Power BI, coupled with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • You should possess excellent analytical and synthesis abilities, enabling you to decipher complex financial data and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders.

  • You are analytical and process-oriented, with a strong commitment to driving continuous improvement in all areas of your work.

  • Fluent in English & French.
