an A2R Tax Trainee, you will support technical process implementation, controls and compliance in all topics related to tax accounting and reporting.

Main responsibilities:

• Support corporate reporting on time according to closing calendar
• Support tax calculations, including indirect tax (VAT), property tax, withholding tax and other taxes, prepare related tax returns
• Support retained team in profit tax and deferred tax calculation by IFRS and statutory GAAP, in preparation of related tax returns
• Support that all recurring and non-recurring tax items are collected, tax accounts reconciled, and tax Manual Journal Entries (MJE) booked
• Support preparation of tax reporting at Group and country levels
• Support tax audits, internal and external audits
• Support the preparation of ad-hoc tax reports and analysis

About you

Education:

• Ongoing university studies (active student status for min 1 year) preferably in the field of finance

Soft skills:

• Strong deductive and analytical skills
• Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally with an end-to-end mindset
• Ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks as per deadline
• Attentive to detail and works with precision

Technical skills:

• SAP ERP and other accounting applications - is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel - is a plus

Languages:

• Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are desirable

Experience:

• Previous experience in tax or accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment - is a plus
