As a Salesforce Lead Release Manager, you will lead the Release Management practice in complex enterprise landscape, partnering with key collaborators to drive and achieve the deployment schedule. You serve as main responsible of the CI/CD process on the Salesforce platform , using strong interpersonal skills, deployment and release knowledge, Salesforce platform knowledge, and knowledge of Sanofi CHC business to deliver return on investment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Experience leading and managing Salesforce updates or releases. This could involve managing the update process, mitigating risks, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Setting up and maintaining development, testing, and staging environments and controlling the flow of changes between these environments.

  • Identifying potential risks in the software release lifecycle and assessing their potential impact. This could involve analyzing technical risks, such as potential software bugs, and logistical risks, such as schedule conflicts or resource availability issues.

  • Implementing changes in a structured and systematic manner, reducing the likelihood of issues or disruptions, implementation methods and best practices.

  • Leading and setting up Testing Automation strategy collaboration with Test Leads.

  • Usage of CI/CD and version control tools(GIT).

  • Deployment tools expertise like Change Sets, Metadata API, and some tailored solution like Copado / GearSet / AzureDevops, etc.

About you

Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects.

Soft and Technical skills

  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online,

  • Minimum Salesforce certified: Administrator. Tooling certified like:

-Copado certifications

-CI/CD tools certifications and courses

-JIRA/Atlassian credentials

  • A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude and excellent relationship-building skills. Available and responsive to question, clarifications and instructions.

  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams; Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.

  • A strategic approach to release design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.

  • Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
