The Health, Safety and Environment team is a truly worldwide team, built around collaboration with strong values and a team driven by a partnership mindset. This is an ambitious team which is highly accountable for the workplace safety and compliance of HSE within Sanofi.
Our HSE team is managing the Field safety, Process safety, Fire protection system, Waste Water Treatment plant, Security and Industrial hygiene on site. He/she will need to support the operational aspect of the Waste Water Treatment plant and Fire protection system and ensure smooth operation. There will also be optimization projects to improve efficiency and cost reduction. He/she will also need to support the department for other HSE related matters e.g. training and programs.
Main responsibilities:
The Intern will assist in the implementation HSE Corporate initiatives.
He/She will need to support the development of HSE improvement project.
At the same time, he/she will need to support the team in terms of HSE documentation and site programs.
He/She will also be exposed chemical and process safety related work matter which may need his/she involvement.
Perform site inspection and compilation of observations.
Use of digital tools to create promotional video and online quiz
Any other HSE related matters
Responsible for operation and troubleshooting of wastewater treatment plant.
Assist in sampling, testing and recording of analytical results of wastewater streams.
Collect data for corporate sustainability reporting.
Assist in HSE documentations and site HSE training.
Provide support for projects related to WWTP and safety improvement.
About you
Experience: Knowledge of equipment and process used in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Soft skills: Strong Problem solving, transversal collaboration and communication skills.
Technical skills: competent in using Microsoft office, able to perform data analysis. Understand Risk assessment methodology using Hazop method and usage of SAP system is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s/Diploma and or Nitec in Chemical Engineering / Manufacturing / Pharmaceutical or similar degree/diploma in related field
