Job title: US Medical Director for Established Products (Oncology)

Join our US Medical team as the US Medical Director for Established Products (Oncology) and you’ll provide impactful medical strategy and expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, execute, and provide oversight of the EP portfolio, with focus on Oncology. Oversee the management of associated EP Medical budget, with emphasis on Oncology.

  • Support with Established Products Head and other stakeholders on portfolio optimization, including products to be prioritized, pruned, and brought into EP portfolio.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as Global Medical, R&D, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, Scientific Communications, Pharmacovigilance, and Public Affairs.

  • Communicate externally as a representative of the functional unit. Represent the US Established Products Medical organization and portfolio and Sanofi to engage key external audiences including HCPs, key thought leaders, medical associations, professional societies, and other key organizations.

  • Utilize medical insights from the field teams to inform the Medical Plan.

  • Identify and implement appropriate and impactful medical research projects to support the strategic medical objectives, including Sanofi-sponsored, external stakeholder collaborations, and investigator-initiated studies.

  • Coordinate and execute on other US medical affairs specific functions (e.g., compassionate use programs) as applicable.

  • Thorough understanding of and ability to integrate health economics research into customer programs and initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, and health economics/policy.

  • Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines.

  • Maintain an understanding and strict environment of integrity and compliance consistent with regulations, laws, and US Sanofi operating principles, standards, and policies.

About you

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Medical role

  • Up to 30% travel may be required for field visits, company, and scientific meetings.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of medical affairs strategies

  • Build and execute communication plans and tools to effectively lead the team to deliver against field medical objectives.

Education:

  • Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university (e.g., M.D., PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)

The salary range for this position is $210,000 - 250,000.00 USD Annually . All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
