Mission and Key Responsibilities:

The Country Quality Manager will oversee quality activities linked to the outsourced Distribution, External Storage and Transportation activities, ensuring compliance with GDP requirements, Global Quality standards, and national and EU legislation.

This role includes overseeing Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products for human use, Medical Devices and food supplements regulations.

The Quality Distribution Officer is a member of the Quality department of the French affiliate Opella Healthcare France (Exploitant) and reports to the CHC Country Quality Head France.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Oversee outsourced operational distribution activities performed by distribution centers and external storage locations.

  • Participate in the maintenance of quality agreements (QTAs) related to Distribution, External Storage and Transportation activities and its internal quality documentations.

  • Share reference documents with distribution centers to allow batch verification before commercial release.

  • Handle non-conformities upon receipt at distribution centers and external storage locations and customer claims, having a potential impact on quality product (including temperature excursions), in interface with production sites.

  • Participate to the validation of downstream transport flows from distribution centers to end customers.

  • Participate to audit activities of distribution centers, External storage sites and transporters and participate to their periodic evaluation.

  • Participate to Quality Reviews with distribution subcontractors, ensure KPIs follow-up for the outsourced activities and propose improvements.

  • Manage Stock issues during Cycle Count & Picking

  • Manage, in coordination with supply chain, new product launches.

  • Ensure that customers are qualified in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and procedures in place.

  • Obtain and maintain ANSM export authorizations for OHF products.

  • Analyze request of returned products before final validation by the CQH and ensure that destruction and decommissioning decision are applied by subcontractors.

  • Ensure compliance to national law requirements.

Scope and Role Impact:

  • Cross-functional within the CHC France Affiliate (Supply Chain, …).

  • Important interactions with distributors, manufacturers, and transport sites.

  • Key role in ensuring consistent application of Quality requirements.

About you:

  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Pharma Degree eligible pharmacist in Section B and ideally with a master’s degree in quality management.

  • Experience: Candidates should have several years of operational experience in the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) domain within an affiliate setting or a distribution/manufacturing site. Ideally, a qualified auditor.

  • Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of regulations related to the distribution of pharmaceutical products (GDP), quality risk analysis and management.

    • Good ability to use IT tools / digital appetite.

  • Languages: Fluent in French and proficiency in English (ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken)

  • Soft Skills:

    • Clear and effective communication.

    • Critical thinking and problem-solving.

    • Rigorous and well organized.

    • Able to make decisions.

    • Able to interact with various stakeholders at the level of distributors, manufacturers and transport sites.

    • Ability to act for change, commit to customers.
