As Deputy Director, Manufacturing and Supply Finance Business Partner you’ll be responsible for providing financial analyses, ensuring compliance, identifying risks and opportunities, and advising on business improvements. This role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, and quarterly reports, managing headcount budgeting and analysis and collaborating with various teams on headcount reporting. Additionally, the position includes managing financial systems, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with Sanofi policies and reporting obligations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, preparation, and management of the entire Manufacturing & Supply (“M&S”) headcount budget, forecasting, quarterly landing deliverables, and strategic plan for all operations headcount.
  • Responsible for development, preparation, and management of the annual budget, forecasting, quarterly landing deliverables, and strategic plan Works closely with the operations to transform strategy into the budgets.
  • Working closely with the North American M&S Controlling Operations and Account-to-Report teams, responsible for the monthly closing activities for M&S.
  • Explains spending and variances based on an operational understanding of the business and makes proactive recommendations for business and ensure financial improvement. Actively challenges spending and monitors risks and opportunities.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives, projects, assignments. Maintain working relationships with site, regional, and global multidiscipline operations and finance personnel and management.
  • Working closely with the North American M&S Controlling Operations, responsible for assigned internal control procedures and proper application of Sanofi Group policies and procedures.

About you

  • Must be skilled in budgeting and forecasting as well as cost accounting
  • Proven experience with month end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Capacity to work closely with the production teams and site management
  • A degree in Accounting or Business required
