To facilitate this transformation, a new Business Operations Business Unit is being established, bringing together existing business service activities, and driving further expansion of centralized services at scale into a global unit, with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity.This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture.

Reporting to the Head of S2P Delivery, the Transactional Procurement (PR-to-PO) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of procurement transactions. This position involves managing the end-to-end process from requisition creation to purchase order issuance and good receipt management, contributing to the smooth functioning of the procurement workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase Requisition Processing: Efficiently process purchase requisitions in compliance with procurement policies and guidelines by reviewing and validating requisition details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Purchase Order Generation Monitoring: Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions, considering specified requirements and supplier agreements. Ensure purchase orders based on approved requisitions are correctly submitted to the right supplier. Ensure the Purchase Order is fully integrated in Sanofi ERP/backend system and issues/errors are fixed.

  • Good Receipt Monitoring: Ensure good receipts are fully integrated in Sanofi ERP/backend system and issues/errors are fixed.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for requisition processing and communicate with requestors to clarify specifications and resolve discrepancies. Monitor and track the status of purchase orders, providing regular updates to relevant parties.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and SoX processes and maintain accurate documentation of transactions.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, good receipts, and other transactional procurement matters.

  • Reporting: Ad hoc reporting on Purchase Request, Purchase Order and Goods Receipt transactional data.

About you

  • Experience: Previous experience in transactional procurement or a related field.

  • Soft and Technical skills: Familiarity with procurement systems and tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of eProcurement systems such Coupa, Ariba. Understanding of procurement best practices.

  • Education: Degree in business, supply chain management, or a relevant field.

  • Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
