Job Description Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Intern to join our Digital PV/CMO Medical team on our Bridgewater site in New Jersey. The person is expected to work on key project activities for system retirement / decommissioning and system archiving. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, system analysis and Digital process while contributing to digital on time project completion, while performing in a multicultural environment, with stakeholders worldwide.

Key Responsibility
Assist with System Retirement:
Contribute to documenting, analyzing, and preparing legacy systems for decommissioning. Ensure all necessary processes are completed prior to shutdown.
Data Archiving & Migration:
Lead the System Retirement Plan, confirming the scope of data archival or migration with the business, while taking into account the extraction of the data from the source system, working with our partners (support team, archiving team) to achieve this. Ensure proper documentation and validation of data integrity.
Project Documentation:
Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation including system inventories, decommissioning timelines, and status reports.
Stakeholder Communication:
Assist in communicating with various internal departments to gather necessary information, ensuring the smooth coordination of decommissioning activities.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure all archiving and decommissioning tasks adhere to company standards for data security, regulatory compliance, and best practices in IT governance.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
Work with the team to identify and troubleshoot any issues encountered during the system retirement process.
Project Coordination Support:
Help with scheduling, tracking, and coordinating key project milestones and activities to ensure timely execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with databases, cloud storage, and basic networking concepts. Experience with data migration or system decommissioning is a plus but not required.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Detail-Oriented & Organized:
Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them effectively while maintaining high attention to detail.
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions to potential issues that may arise during the project.
