Opella. as a part of Sanofi, is a leading global pharmaceutical company focused on Consumer Health Care (CHC) business, responsible for prescription free pharmaceutical products.

Within CHC, the department External Manufacturing (EM CHC) is managing contract manufacturers, producing several hundred million units per year. For this department, we are looking for a Transfer & Portfolio Optimization Project Lead (FTC until 30.11.2025).

The Transfer & Portfolio Optimization Project Lead (all genders) is dealing especially with product transfers from and to contract manufacturers or internal manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

· Leading and managing of product transfers of medicinal products, medical devices, food supplement and cosmetics from and to contract external manufacturers or internal manufacturing sites

· Steering respective international and inter-disciplinary teams within an internal and external matrix structure

· Ensuring project delivery in-time and under consideration of quality, GMP and regulatory aspects as well as cost and supply chain effectivity

· Evaluating of detailed technical and financial assessments of product transfer ideas, resulting in transfer proposals

· Developing of comprehensive project plans including resource planning and budget

· Monitoring and reporting of project progress to all levels of management and stakeholders

· Ensuring of Opella.’s interests in contract negotiations with contract manufacturers and preparation and negotiation of Transfer Agreements

· Continuously improvement of the EM CHC transfer processes in close cooperation with corporate functions

Requirements & Qualifications

· University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, engineering or similar relevant education

· Advanced project management skills and preferably experienced in technical product transfer management, pharmaceutical manufacture or process technology

· Strong negotiation and communication skills as well as conflict management skills

· Business mindset

· Excellent cross functional collaboration skills, ability to work in an international environment

· Assertive in complex team structures, persistent, pragmatic and result orientated

· Preferably knowledge of international GMP and regulatory requirements, Drug acts; medical device guidelines and regulations

· Full command of English language (both written and spoken)

· Willingness to travel abroad
