This department is part of the Global Engineering, and he is supporting transversally cluster of M&S sites. The main mission is to:

  • Represents regional M&S site needs in front of our global facility management suppliers.
  • Directly oversight all soft & hard services of our regional M&S sites

Main responsibilities:

The Mission:

Sanofi Manufacturing & Supply has around 6 manufacturing sites in ASIA, Head of Regional Facility Management will be responsible for driving Integrated Facility service delivery performance and Supplier Management, implementing best practices, standardizing ways of working across our Manufacturing sites and Campuses.

More specifically the Head of Regional Facility Management oversees:

  • Lead a regional organization responsible for Facility Management – Soft & Hard services.
  • Manage multiple annual budgeting process with site heads and GBUs.
  • Oversee vendors (IFM Partners) for outsourced Facility services.
  • Manage stakeholders’ business, operation, quality, HSE, Finance.
  • Lead and oversee implementation of global corporate program – Sustainability, Energy, Life Cycle Asset Plan.
  • Management and oversee of financial including annual budget process.
  • Foster performance improvement through the implementation of the new organization
  • Own Supplier relationship (operational delivery).
  • Integrate & stabilize all sites going into IFM platform.
  • Address and resolve escalations and issues.
  • Escalate unresolved questions or items to the Global Governance team.
  • Share learnings & best practices across region.
  • Manage service delivery performance.
  • Review changes to the Service Levels and KPIs.
  • Implement key initiatives to budget & schedule.
  • Manage Service Provider’s management fee at risk for performance against KPIs.

Scope and dimensions

Breadth of Responsibility: management of around direct reports 6 & team and through a envelop of around 5 M€ OPEX annually.

About you

  • Experience:
    • Experience with Integrated FM services including Hard Services (HVAC, Black Utilities… and General Soft services (Canteen, Cleaning, Pest Control…)
    • Knowledge of operating critical pharmaceutical environment.
    • Experience with Strategic asset Management program.
    • Experience of coaching, developing, and influencing people at different levels of the organization
    • Command of change management issues and methodologies at leadership level would be a strong plus.
    • Ability to lead and drive transformation & standardization.
    • Good functional knowledge on business processes
  • Soft skills:
    • Leading through Change and Transformation
    • Capable of managing different stakeholders – believers, disrupters …
    • Capable of ensuring employees and site organization comply to global standards, vision, contracts.
    • Manage escalation, solution oriented.
    • Decision making and autonomy – capable to take decision, support leadership discussions.
    • Ability to work transversally: cross-culturally and cross-functionally.
    • High autonomy and strong transversal capabilities.
    • Strategic vision / value creation understanding.
    • Results driven
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong experience in Manufacturing & Industrialization, project lead and Performance Management
    • Manage vendors / Interact with partner regional leads.
    • Good experience in Engineering & Technical Management, incluging management
    • Ability to manage complex projects achieving significant business results.
    • Engineering & Manufacturing site operations,
    • Leadership skills demonstrated with successful & managing transversal international team.
    • Experience in a global function role and/or in end-to-end strategic position
  • Education:
    • Master of Science Engineering or equivalent degree,
  • Languages:
    • Fluent English spoken and written compulsory,
    • Fluent language skills in accordance with the biggest country under your umbrella ( German, Italy, South EMEA)
