We are seeking an experienced Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Lead to develop and execute programs designed to enhance enterprise wide DE&I programming, such as DE&I initiatives / interventions for Business Units/Functions, strategic management of Sanofi’s existing DE&I strategy and helping to build internal and external Partnerships.
The Global DE&I Lead will drive the strategic execution of our ‘Diversity Edge’ and partner with executive and employee-led communities across the organization. They will lead the change in developing, embedding and sustaining best practice to operationalize DE&I principles in all facets of the employee lifecycle and in day-to-day experiences to help enhance the collaborative and high performing culture at Sanofi.
Main responsibilities:
- Research, develop and implement comprehensive DE&I initiatives and action plans that support Sanofi’s Diversity Edge and reinforce our ‘Play to Win’ behaviours and business transformation
- Stay informed about industry and functional best practices, trends, and legal requirements related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, incorporating them into our company’s policies and practices
- Use analytical findings to shape recommendations, future program enhancements and initiatives
- In partnership with the other Centres of Excellence (CoE’s), integrate DE&I principles into the full employee life cycle from recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, to career development, performance and rewardprocesses
- Create learning experiences to raise awareness and enhance understanding of DE&I issues, fostering a more inclusive and culturally competent workforce.
- Work closely with our Communication partner to develop communication strategies to raise awareness of DEI efforts and celebrate diversity achievements throughout the organization
- Develop a strong relationship of trust and mutual respect with internal and external partners
About you
Experience:
- Proven DE&I practitioner experience in setting and implementing projects end to end
Soft and technical skills:
- Data driven approach to decision making
- Strong project management, analysis and reporting skills, able to demonstrate delivery of data informed approaches to Inclusion
- A high level of self-awareness, empathy, diplomacy, influencing skills and confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues at play in DE&I worldwide
- International experience of working in a global DE&I role would be an advantage
Education:
- Degree in HR, Business Management, Psychology, Behavioural Science or other relevant disciplines
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required
