This position is part of the US Medical Next Gen Immunology team within the North America Medical Specialty Care organization. Our Medical function is a strategic partner with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access, supporting Sanofi's commitment to improving patients' lives through scientific innovation.
Reporting to the US Senior R&D Field Medical Director, Next Gen Immunology.

Main Responsibilities:
Serve as a clinical trial expert for the US field medical team (FMT)
Foster cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Clinical, R&D, etc
Develop and maintain processes for FMT clinical trial site recommendations
Create medical-led clinical trial strategies to accelerate enrollment
Utilize and develop AI-enabled tools for real-time updates and decision-making
Develop and maintain a global dashboard for field medical updates on clinical trial programs
Establish, track, and report on R&D field KPIs
Act as an immunology clinical trial expert for Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
Develop and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
Provide clinical content for Medical resources and HCP education
Collaborate with US field medical trainers to address knowledge gaps
Create and maintain a reference library for Immunology clinical research
Stay current with professional information through conferences and medical literature
Participate in leadership team meetings to discuss program status
Serve as a liaison between Medical and R&D to align US field activity with global research strategy
Support evidence generation programs, including Investigator Sponsored Trials and external research collaborations
About You
Education:
MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent required
Work Experience:
Field-related medical expertise, i.e., Medical Scientific Liaison experience is preferred
2+ years of clinical research experience and/or basic science research
Skills / knowledge:
Strong and versatile clinical development experience in inflammation, dermatology, respiratory and/or gastroenterology
Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle, and commercialization processes
Experience with developing study concepts for clinical development and clinical trial designs with cross-functional input, including biostatistics, observational research and patient-reported outcomes in Phase 2b and/or 3 clinical trials in inflammation/immunology
Leadership experience/potential as a medical expert in a complex matrix environment
Ability to effectively present ideas and document complex medical/clinical concepts in both written and oral communication
Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities while exhibiting superior judgment and a balanced, realistic understanding of issues and resolution path

The salary range for this position is $195,000.00 - $260,000.00 USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
