About the Job
Are you a skilled communications professional with a passion for driving strategic internal and external messaging? As a Leadership Communications Manager for Opella, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare BU in Vietnam, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's communication strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
This senior role requires expertise in leadership communications counsel, internal communications, and public relations to position the company effectively during its significant transition and carve-out journey.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership Communications Counsel:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Vietnam Leadership Team and the Country Head, supporting growth strategies.
- Provide strategic counsel on corporate and brand reputational risk, as well as internal communications.
- Develop and implement a holistic communications strategy covering internal communications, brand initiatives, and corporate public relations.
Internal Communications:
- Create and execute the annual internal communications plan and rhythm.
- Deliver comprehensive communication assets, including Yammer updates, Town Hall presentations, and other key content.
- Organize regular employee engagement events such as Town Halls and celebrations.
- Guide leadership during organizational or structural changes by providing appropriate communication strategies.
- Collaborate with global CHC Communications to ensure local representation in global channels.
Brand and Corporate Public Relations:
- Work closely with brand teams and external agencies to deliver successful public relations programs.
- Respond to media inquiries related to corporate and brand matters.
- Represent the company in industry communications committees and policy organizations as needed.
- Build capabilities in brand and corporate public relations within the business.
Communications Priorities for Carve-Out:
- Develop compelling corporate narratives to engage stakeholders during the carve-out process.
- Coordinate major announcements through press releases or media events.
- Establish and manage a legal entity's presence on relevant social media platforms to build brand loyalty.
- Oversee website management to ensure effective stakeholder communication.
- Create and publish high-quality multimedia content to position the new entity as a leader in the OTC industry.
About You
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leadership communications, corporate public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic and Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at navigating organizational changes with clear, effective communication.
