Location: Bridgewater, NJ or Cambridge, MA
The Associate Director, Global Oncology Franchise Operations will report to the Head of Operations, Global Oncology. The position will be based in Bridgewater, NJ or Cambridge, MA.
The candidate must be highly organized, flexible, and adept at handling multiple projects with tight deadlines via multiple stakeholders. This will be a highly visible position interacting with many internal functional groups, as well as external vendors, requiring strong written communication and presentation skills.

Main Responsibilities:
Congress Management, Communication & Reputation: 70%
This person will lead and ensure the flawless execution of the congress plans aligned with the disease area commercial strategy. Strong project management skills and a close attention to detail will be required for the success of the Oncology congresses, under the guidance of the Global Head of Operations.
The individual in this role will have a global scope with a focus on high priority international congresses in the Oncology space.
Develops, implements, and maintains congress strategy and project management processes, procedures, systems, and tools which support project planning and implementation: scheduling, resource planning and budget.
Develops full scale project plans
Closely manages all project risks
Work with Communication and other key stakeholders to develop the overall external and internal communication strategy
Facilitates meetings, assembles and coordinates project staff
Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools
Ensure regions & key country's buy into congress strategy and process
Gain approval for congress activities through the internal review process
Develop success metrics and measurements
Develop an effective ongoing communication plan to ensure full project transparency
Develop sustainable, high level working partnerships with internal and external resources
Maintain a patient-centric and customer-centric philosophy in defining and executing the congress strategy. Seek for innovation and working with the Sanofi Hubs
Execute congress activities in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements
Other: 30%
Additionally, this person will assist in the planning and execution of various internal Global meetings and transversal projects.
Support Sanofi-led strategic projects representing the Oncology franchise, as required
Perform market and competitive assessments and derive insights
Support the new GTMC model implementation and modernization initiatives.
Support the Onboarding Program for new members and overall Oncology Communication package updates
About You
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a science related area
6-10 years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably a combination of marketing, sales and operational roles
Demonstrated understanding of global pharmaceutical marketing strategies and regulatory/compliance environment
Working knowledge and previous oncology experience
Project management experience
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and direction
Evidence of strong leadership and management skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively in teams, small groups and in a large group presentation environment
Able to travel up to 20% both nationally/internationally
Preferred Requirements:
Advanced degree
Global/in-country experience
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally
PMP certification
Matrix management experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and communicate project plans
Strong organizational and operations skills, attention to details
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively
