The Vaccines Business Unit of Sanofi plays a key role as a public health partner in the fight against both pandemic and endemic infectious diseases worldwide.

With the acceleration of our pipeline of five new programs entering phase 3 by 2025, coupled with, fierce competition in the pediatric and adult vaccination space, innovation is non-negotiable in the way we approach product launches particularly in communications.
Within the communications franchise dedicated to Respiratory Syncytial Virus (three products), Meninge and Polio/Pertussis/Hib (PPH) we have recently launched our Beyfortus blockbuster immunization/monoclonal antibody and are preparing the introduction of a first-in-class vaccine for the prevention of RSV in toddlers and a best-in-class combination vaccine to prevent RSV and human metapneumo virus in adults. It is important to note that all three RSV immunizations have the potential to become global blockbusters.
As a member of the Global Communications Team for RSV, Meninge and PPH, the Global Product Communications Lead for RSV Toddler Vaccine is a new role created to provide communications expertise and direction in support of the development and launch of an innovative live-attenuated intranasal vaccine to prevent RSV in Toddlers and young children. This role will additionally support the ongoing roll out of our Beyfortus all-infant prevention and make a strategic connection to the new vaccine, which will complete our pediatric RSV prevention portfolio.
This role will be responsible for:
Executing 360 communications plans supporting the business priorities of the RSV Toddler Vaccine franchise and ongoing communications in support of the Beyfortus roll out as it moves toward its third year post launch.
Liaising closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders and key countries on the assigned scope, ensuring a glocal approach, strong country engagement and development of key global communications strategies and planning to drive continued growth of the Sanofi RSV pediatric portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
Define and execute a global communications plan, both internally and externally, to enhance the visibility and understanding of the need for prevention of RSV in toddlers/young children through an innovative vaccination approach.
Implement global communications activations that continue to drive the uptake of Beyfortus post-approval both externally and internally, in partnership with key stakeholders and core Global Communications team counterparts.
Conceive, develop, and deliver annual Global RSV Brand Communications Plans designed to promote the imperative of our RSV Toddler Franchise and supportive of the strategic positioning of our RSV pediatric franchise.
Provide strategic communications guidance to Global Franchise Head of RSV, the Global Brand Lead, the R&D Project Head and other internal stakeholders, including Public Affairs, R&D, Medical and expert functions involved in the launch of the RSV Toddler Vaccine.
Work as an integral part of the RSVt Brand Team to ensure the strategy and positioning established by Sanofi for the vaccine and the RSV franchise are supported in all communications.
Collaborate with different teams to ensure success across our RSV pediatric portfolio, particularly RSVt and Beyfortus: the Global RSV Franchise teams, Vaccines Public Affairs teams, Global Communications peers and the Sanofi Corporate and local Communications Teams
Manage external agencies, timelines and budgets as appropriate
Closely monitor the performance of all content, including report providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
About You
Experience:
We are looking for an experienced communications manager with 7-10 years of experience, a background in the healthcare sector and proven success in executing impactful communications initiatives both internal and external.
Our team members must be able to work in a matrix environment, with a high level of integrity and commitment to the mission of improving global health through vaccination.

external and internal communication knowledge.
Languages:
All global communications are in English language, so this role requires fluent English language writing skills.
