Our team and your role
As talent COE, we champion our North Star Talent Strategy and ambition: become the Go-to employer in Bio-Pharma, home of the best talent. The Talent Management COE owns, designs and governs the Talent processes, to define and drive the overall integrated talent experience.
The talent management partner in the Talent COE reports directly to the Head of Talent Management, Greater China and will be engaging with global talent management community.
Your responsibilities
As the talent management partner for Vx, Country Lead Functions and HKTW, you will be a key advisor on all aspects of Talent Management to support the business, which includes: being responsible for operationalizing the talent strategy in your perimeter, knowing the key talents to ensure a diverse pipeline for Cross Moves, and serve as an advisor to people managers and PBPs/PEPs for all matters related to Talent Management.
- North Star Talent Strategy: Driving and operationalize the talent priorities for the relevant BU/Function. Driving and educating around the Talent Principles to support the overall ambition.
- Talent Advisor: serve as a key advisor for People Manager and People Partners around talent management to create and develop solutions to ensure the business has a robust talent pipeline.
- Talent Density: Partner with the business and P&C to identify critical roles and build robust succession plans and talent pipelines to meet future workforce needs. Know and engage key talents and serve as career advisor to support their development. Promote cross-functional movement and career growth opportunities for talent within the BU/Function, fostering talent density, organizational agility, and a culture of internal mobility.
- Potential for Growth and Succession pipeline: Works with PBPs and PEPs to support the Potential for Growth Talent Review, Calibration, and Succession Planning, ensuring alignment with global standards while tailoring approaches to meet business needs. Play a key role in building capability of leaders around assessment of potential, potential for what and ensuring leaders build rich development plans. Collaborate with the Talent Management Head to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in talent management processes, programs, and tools.
- Talent Intelligence: Bring in a “data driven approach” using HR analytics to track key talent metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
- Talent Management Initiatives: Design and drive key talent initiatives and support the delivery of key global talent management programs & initiatives.
- Cultivate a Growth Culture: Champion a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization. Design and implement initiatives that promote a growth mindset.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8-10 years Human Resource experience, ideally with 3-5 years people business partner or talent management partner experience, consulting firm working experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in executing talent management strategies, including talent pipelines, succession planning, diversity and executive talent management.
- Strong self-awareness and influence skills, ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a pragmatic approach to solving complex talent challenges.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR analytics tools to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Fluent in English.
