The CHC Global Business Unit is one of the four GBUs of Sanofi. It reports sales of ~5,5Bn€ and is a global leader in its field, with a business footprint on all continents and more than 10,000 employees.

The CHC Finance Performance North America Department is managing the North America region financial performance; North America represents 25% of the GBU worldwide sales.

Main responsibilities:

The job corresponds to a new position, created in the frame of an M&A acquisition in a white space for North America and the GBU: Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) in the US.

Qunol Integration:

  • Act as Qunol CFO until Integration model is defined.

  • Lead the Finance integration: Design and propose and implement fit-for-purpose processes, systems integration and organization design to balance the management of Qunol business in autonomy while articulating with the CHC GBU Organization, Core Models and key processes. Coordinate on Treasure topic with Bio Pharma US Finance.

  • Support the integration of the company, with focus on minimizing business disruption and promoting value creation, working hand in hand with Sanofi M&A and Qunol Integration lead

  • Track, communicate and report on business performance, giving visibility on achievement of business case objectives and value creation targets.

Qunol Finance Performance:

  • Finance Business Partner for the business leader: support the decision-making process based on sound judgment, finance expertise and business acumen

  • Lead Finance Performance with focus on:

    • Providing the leadership team accurate, timely and relevant financial data and key metrics that help drive business performance

    • Monitoring and challenging business performance vs set targets and defined KPIs, with focus on tracking performance vs business case

    • Managing risks and opportunities, build mitigation action plans

    • Supporting implementation and ensuring IBP consistency to drive growth and manage supply and inventories

    • Controlling return on investment and promoting optimal resource allocation, with focus on A&P and R&D investments

  • Lead budget & forecasting: challenge Business assumptions, identify risks and opportunities and ensure strategic alignment between Commercial Business, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and Financial Operations

  • Accountable for the control environment (assessing risks and performing controls) over their local areas of responsibility and fully aware of internal control requirements (“guardian of the rules”), with the capability to raise concerns to Internal Control

  • Develop & Share Finance best practices and Simplification to limit the workload and enhance the focus on Performance

About you

  • Soft and technical skills: Leadership skills, ability for managing managers and multicultural awareness, agility and ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment, strong analytical skills and highly proactive and assertive attitude with a commitment to excellence.

  • Education: Degree in finance and accounting or related business discipline and a professional accounting qualification.

  • Languages: English
